With the holidays now officially over and the middle of winter hanging over us, some friends and I decided on a surefire way to beat out any blossoming Boulder midwinter blues: Happy Hour at Bacaro. Bacaro is what we might call “casual fine dining” and it is located on the western end of the Pearl Street mall on the northern side. Bacaro toes the line between elegant and trendy and yet it was quite reasonable and well worth the visit.

Jamba Juiceはビタミンやミネラルたっぷりの、ヘルシーなスムージーが飲めるお店です。全米にチェーン展開しており、Boulderには30th沿いのKing Sooperのすぐそばにあります。明るい雰囲気の店内に入ると、店員さんたちが働くブースの中にたくさんの新鮮な果物が並んでいます。店内には暖炉も設置されており、寒い季節でも冷たいスムージーが美味しく飲めるよう工夫されています。

Mediterraneanは1993年にオープンして以来、Boulderを代表するレストランとして数々の賞を受賞しています。Pearl Street Mallから1ブロックのWalnut Street沿いという絶好のロケーションにあり、リーズナブルな価格で本格的な地中海料理を楽しむ事ができます。
